Turkmen company exceeds salt extraction plan

The Turkmen Guwlyduz company, located in the Balkan region of Turkmenistan, produced 94,644 tons of salt in 2020, which exceeds the plant by 1.8 percent, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenportal information portal.

The amount of packaged food salt exceeded 19,777 tons.

In the new production halls of the company, products are packed in plastic buckets of 1 and 2 kilograms, as well as bags of 10 and 50 kilograms.

Guwlyduz produced 72,854 tons of salt in the first 9 months of 2020, compared to 71,754 tons of production in the same period a year earlier.

The annual production capacity of the enterprise is designed for the production of 40 thousand tons of iodized food salt and 2.5 thousand granulated industrial salts. In total, since the beginning of the year, 13,394 tons of food salt, packaged in special packages, have been produced here.

The Turkmen Guwlyduz company produced 72,854 tons of salt from January through September of 2020, compared to 71,754 tons of production for a year earlier.

The annual production capacity of the enterprise is designed to produce 40,000 tons of iodized food salt and 2,500 granulated industrial salts. Since the beginning of the year, 13,394 tons of food salt packaged in special bags have been produced here.

As reported, at Balkan region of Turkmenistan, the Guwlyduz enterprise commissioned a workshop with a capacity of 40,000 tons of iodized food salt and 2,500 tons of granulated technical salt per year, the raw material base for which is Duz Lake ("Salt"), which is located on the Caspian coast and is the country's largest salt deposit.

The new workshop has equipment from the European company EKOSOLT.

The feasibility study of the project of an industrial plant for the production of food salt at the Guwlyduz enterprise was prepared by employees of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
