Exports from Iran's Alborz Province increase

The exports from Iran's Alborz Province increased by 112 percent in terms of value and 55 percent in terms of volume during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through January 20, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Director-general of Alborz Province Customs Office, Gholamhossein Nouhi told Tasnim news agency, Trend reports.

The director-general noted that more than 470,000 tons of goods worth $900 million were exported from Alborz Province over the reporting period.

Nouhi added that agricultural products accounted for the main part of the province's total non-oil exports.

As reported, Iran's exports amounted to 94.5 million tons worth $28.1 billion during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2020, through January 20, 2021). The exports decreased by 20 percent in terms of value and 17.7 percent in terms of volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
