The value of Iran's trade turnover with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) amounted to about $1.9 billion during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, through February 18, 2021), which is a decrease of about 9.4 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the statistics of Tehran Chamber of Commerce Industries Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA).
According to the statistics, Iran exported $2.42 million tons of non-oil products worth $933 million to the EAEU member countries over the reporting period. This is a decrease of 17 percent in terms of volume and a 4 percent in terms of value compared to the same period last Iranian year.
“In addition, Iran imported 2.85 million tons of goods worth $1.01 billion from the EAEU member countries within 11 months. The imports increased by 1 percent in terms of volume and decreased by 14 percent in terms of value compared to the same period last Iranian year,” the statistics said.
As reported, Iran's non-oil exports amounted to 103 million tons worth about $31.2 billion over the first 11 months. Moreover, Iran imported 30.8 million tons of goods worth $34.3 billion during the mentioned period.
