Georgian energy company takes steps to deepen Kazakh-Georgian business relations

Rompetrol Georgia company will actively engage in the work of the Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union, Trend reports via Georgian media.

The company is one of the founders of the union.

“Joining the Union is a good step towards deepening business relations between the two countries. The Union will focus on investment, trade, tourism, social, and cultural life of the two countries. Rompetrol will actively engage in the work process and we think we will take many positive steps in this direction,” said Rompetrol.

Together with Rompetrol Georgia, the founders of the Union are business companies and corporations created with Kazakh capital, operating in the Georgian market: Halyk Bank Georgia, Capitol Investment Group, Batumi Oil Terminal, Air Astana, Silk Road Group, and GK Logistic.

Rompetrol Georgia has been developing steadily and successfully on the local market for 15 years already. It is one of the largest importers of fuel in Georgia and offers its customers the Euro-5 quality fuel.

The Kazakh-Georgian Economic Union was created by a joint initiative and efforts of the Embassy of Kazakhstan and Kazakh-Georgian business.

About 30 companies with a total investment capital of $450 million have been established in Georgia with the participation of Kazakh capital. Projects worth $30 million are being smoothly implemented in Georgia with the participation of Kazakh capital.
