The production volume of diesel fuel in Azerbaijan approached 1.8 million tons in the first 4 months of 2021, having dropped by 1.6 percent, Trend reports citing a report of the State Statistical Committee.
At the same time, production of kerosene in the specified period amounted to 459,100 tons, which is 14.6 percent less compared to the same period of 2020.
As of May 1, 2021, the reserves of kerosene in the country amounted to 49,700 tons, diesel fuel – 68,500 tons.
In 2020, the total volume of production of oil products in Azerbaijan in value terms amounted to 3.1 billion manat ($1.82 billion), which is 3.6 percent less compared to 2019. Last year, oil and gas condensate production in Azerbaijan amounted to about 34.5 million tons, which is 7.8 percent less compared to 2019.
As of January 1, 2021, stocks of finished oil products amounted to 439,500 tons.
