The Boston Consulting Group is interested in developing long-term cooperation with Uzbekneftegaz JSC of Uzbekistan in the field of strategic consulting, Trend reports with reference to UzDaily.uz.
The interest was expressed during the meeting of the two sides.
The parties agreed to study in more detail the opinions and proposals of consultants regarding the medium-and long-term development of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
Thus, during the meeting, The Boston Consulting Group was informed about the ongoing transformational reforms in the oil and gas industry, as well as about the current achievements and long-term goals of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, as well as issues of cooperation.
As The Boston Consulting Group said in their post earlier, Uzbekistan is becoming one of the most promising, although still undervalued, directions for investment in Central Asia.
“The investment potential of the country for the next ten years totals $65 billion, of which the non-resource sector accounts for up to $20 billion. Those investors will benefit who, within the next two years, will succeed in using this window of opportunity and filling the most attractive niches,” said their report.
