As of August 23 of 2021, the chemical enterprises of Uzbekistan’s Uzkimyosanoat JSC system sold 5,918 tons of mineral fertilizers worth $1.3 million at the open exchange auctions of Uzbekistan’s Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (UZEX), Trend reports citing Uzkimyosanoat JSC.
Last week, this figure was lower; 2,934 tons of mineral fertilizers were sold in the amount of $794,500 million on August 20.
Such products as ammonium nitrate, carbamide, ammonium sulfate, amorphous, PS-Agro, potash fertilizers, superphosphate, nitrogen-phosphorus fertilizers produced by the enterprises of the industry are exhibited at the exchange trading. Out of all the products, the best-selling one was amorphous, accounting for almost 34.7 percent of sales.
In addition to mineral fertilizers, the enterprises of Uzkimyosanoat JSC have established the production of a number of chemical products widely used in industry, such as PVC, caustic soda, formalin, sodium hypochlorite, soda ash, nitric acid and liquid oxygen. They are also regularly traded on the stock exchange.
As of August 23, the sale of other types of chemical products amounted to $772,704. Last week, this figure was lower, the sale of other types of chemical products amounted to $708,741. The best-selling product was PVC with 42 percent of sales.
