Kazakhstan boosts manufacturing volume of gold

Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed silver in Kazakhstan amounted to 738,558 kg over the period from January through September 2021, which is 2.4 percent less than during the same period of 2020, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

According to the data, non-processed and semi-processed silver production amounted to 95,527 kg in September 2021, which is 1.2 percent more than in September 2020.

Manufacturing of non-processed and semi-processed gold increased by 3.8 percent during the reporting period, having amounted to 83,836 kg (10,991 kg in September 2021, an increase by 9.9 percent compared to September 2020).

Production of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide amounted to 1.1 million tons during the reporting period, which indicates a decrease of 5.9 percent compared to the same period of last year.

The production volume of non-processed aluminum and aluminum oxide was 114,763 tons in September 2021, which is 24 percent less that in September 2020.

Manufacturing of non-processed refined lead amounted to 81,731 tons over the reporting period, which is 11.2 percent less than during the same period of 2020. The volume of non-processed refined lead produced in September 2021 was 9,657 tons, which is 22 percent more than in September 2020.

Production of non-processed zinc amounted to 237,435 tons, which is 2.3 percent more than during the same period of 2020 (29,256 tons in September 2021, down by 20.4 percent compared to September 2020).

As reported, the manufacturing of non-processed non-alloyed refined copper amounted to 323,979 tons, which is 11.3 percent less than during the same period of 2020 (29,256 tons in September 2021, which is 32.6 percent less than in September 2020).

Manufacturing of other non-ferrous metals and products from them amounted to 30,057 tons, which is 5.7 percent less than during the same period of 2020 (4,142 tons in September 2021, up by 2.3 times compared to September 2020).
