IRICA discloses value of Iran’s trade turnover with neighboring Arab countries

The value of Iran's trade turnover with neighboring Arab countries amounted to about $18.1 billion, during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2021), the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi said, Trend reports citing the administration.

The customs official noted that Iran exported $5.48 billion worth of goods to Iraq while importing $630 million worth of goods from Iraq in 7 months.

“Furthermore, Iran exported about $2.59 billion worth of goods to the UAE, as well as imported $8.59 billion worth of goods from this country within the mentioned period,” he said.

Latifi also added that in seven months, Iran exported $327 million worth of goods to Oman and imported about $304 million worth of goods from Oman.

According to him, Iran also exported $85 million worth of goods to Qatar and imported $6.08 million worth of goods from the country in 7 months.

The spokesman said that Iran exported $76.2 million worth of goods to Kuwait while importing $7.36 million worth of goods from Kuwait for the reporting period.

“In addition, Iran exported $4.13 million worth of goods to Bahrain and imported $1.29 million worth of goods from Bahrain over seven months,” Latifi stressed.

The customs official noted that Iran exported $41,000 worth of goods to Saudi Arabia during the reporting period, while did not import products from Saudi Arabia.
