Iran is seeking to revive economic agreements with Syria, said the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"The economic and construction agreements made with Syria would revive opportunities for businesses that could have created jobs for our youth and increase added value for Iranian investors were neglected," Rostam Ghasemi noted in a Twitter post.
The Iranian minister's three-day visit to Syria included various areas such as industry, construction, and infrastructure. Rostam Ghasemi as the head of the Iran-Syria Joint Economic Commission held meetings with President Bashar Assad and senior officials including ministers of economy, transportation, housing, and the head of the Central Bank of Syria.
