Weekly review of trading at Turkmenistan's commodity exchange

The Turkmen State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange recorded 45 transactions totaling $39.35 million last week, Trend reports via the exchange.

Entrepreneurs from the UK, Afghanistan and Georgia purchased ECO-93 gasoline produced by a plant under the Türkmenhimiýa State Concern.

Businessmen from Russia purchased polypropylene produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries.

In addition, businessmen from Turkey, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan purchased cotton yarn, dried licorice roots and float glass.

Moreover, entrepreneurs from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased cotton yarn and handmade carpets for a total amount of more than 757,000 manats ($216,690).

In addition, local entrepreneurs purchased Portland cement for the domestic market in the amount of $210,272, road oil bitumen produced at the Turkmen Oil Refinery in the total amount of more than 3,165,000 manats ($905,970), as well as handmade carpets.
