Iran's non-oil exports amounted to 8.09 million tons worth $3.62 billion for the 10th month of the current year (December 22, 2021 through January 20, 2022), the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi said, Trend reports citing the administration.
According to Latifi, the country's non-oil exports increased by 18 percent in value, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
The spokesman added that Iran exported 2.32 million tons worth $1.25 billion to China, 1.57 million tons worth $514 million to Iraq, 385,000 tons worth $400 million to Turkey, as well as, 724,000 tons worth $366 million to the UAE and 258,000 tons worth $127 million to Afghanistan in the 10th month.
“Meanwhile, Iran's non-oil trade turnover for the 10th month amounted to 11.2 million tons worth $8.15 billion, which is an increase of 19 percent in value, compared to the same month last Iranian year,” he said.
Within the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through January 20, 2022), Iran exported a total of 100 million tons of goods worth $38.7 billion, which is an increase of 37 percent in value and 7 percent in volume, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
