Iran’s passenger car manufacturing increased by 1.1 percent, during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through January 20, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
According to the statistics, Iran manufactured 748,500 passenger cars in 10 months. Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at 740,600.
“In addition, 65,566 pickups were manufactured in Iran over 10 months, which is a decrease of 4.2 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year. Pickup manufacturing amounted to 68,406 units in the same period last Iranian,” the statistics said.
According to the statistics, Iran has manufactured 2,010 buses, minibusses, and vans for the reporting period. This is an increase of 29.9 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year. Thus, the figure stood at 1,547 in the same period last Iranian year
Within 10 months, Iran also manufactured 8,914 trucks and trailers, which is an increase of 71.8 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year. So, manufacturing was 5,190 in the same period last Iranian year.
Also, 575 combine harvesters were manufactured in the country over 10 months. Combine harvester manufacturing increased by 10.8 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year. Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the manufacturing amounted to 519 units.
According to statistics, Iran manufactured 18,637 tractors within the mentioned period, which is an increase of 5.1 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year. So, 17,740 tractors had been manufactured in the country in the same period last Iranian year.
