BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 16. Kazakhstan is negotiating with investors on the use of new technologies in the field of sorting and efficient use of household waste, Head of the country’s Aktobe region Ondasyn Urazalin said, Trend reports via the government of Kazakhstan.
According to Urazalin, household waste must be sorted or efficiently used.
"We are against the construction of a waste incineration plant in the region," he noted.
The region’s head also said that Kazakhstan’s Zhasyl Damu JSC provides support for the use of new technologies in the field of sorting and efficient use of household waste, and the work is carried out at the expense of investors.
“Our goal is not to burden the budget but to create conditions for entrepreneurs to make a profit and use their funds. To date, several entrepreneurs using foreign technologies have shown their interest in this issue which can be resolved this year," added Urazalin.
