TEHRAN, Iran, May 24. The Central Bank of Iran is eliminating debts of livestock farmers to help them obtain advances, said the Minister of Agriculture Javad Sadatinejad, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
"Agriculture bank will provide services and advances to livestock farmers to purchase livestock inputs," he said.
Sadatinejad pointed out that the State Livestock Affair Logistics Company and the private sector are distributing livestock inputs based on subsidized foreign currency rates from Iran's ports to provinces.
According to the official, the State Livestock Affair Logistics Company will guarantee the purchase of chicken and eggs to increase the country's strategic reserves. Iran plans to export day-old chicks and fertilized eggs.
