BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 3. Iran's non-oil exports decreased by 14 percent in value and 13 percent in volume for the summer season (June 22 through September 22, 2022), compared to the spring season (March 21 through June 21, 2022), Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Rouhollah Latifi said, Trend reports citing the administration.

According to the Latifi, a total of 24.1 million tons of non-oil products worth about $11.2 billion were exported in summer.

“In summer, Iran exported non-oil products worth $3.63 billion to China (a decrease of 14 percent), worth $1.56 billion to Iraq (a decrease of 15 percent), worth $1.46 billion to the UAE (a decrease of 11 percent), worth $889 million to Türkiye (a decrease of 49 percent), worth $480 million to India (an increase of 13 percent),” he added.

The spokesman noted that Iran imported goods worth $13.5 billion in the summer, which is an increase of 9 percent in value compared to the spring.

"During summer, Iran imported goods worth $3.78 billion from the UAE (an increase of 10 percent), worth $3.71 billion from China (an increase of 19 percent), worth $1.4 billion from Türkiye (an increase of 11 percent), worth $868 million from India (an increase of 70 percent) and worth $482 million from Russia (an increase of 22 percent),” the customs official said.
