BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 28. Iran’s non-oil exports through the customs of Gilan Province in the north of the country, increased by 25 percent in value and 4 percent in value, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Supervisor of Gilan Province Customs Office Sadegh Barzegar told reporters, Trend reports referring to Fars News Agency.
The customs official noted that overall, 733,000 tons of non-oil products worth about $531 million were exported through the customs of Gilan Province in 8 months.
Barzegar added that the main exported goods were various plants, mining products, chemicals, food products and etc.
“The mentioned goods from the province’s customs were mainly exported to neighboring countries, including Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and other countries,” he said.
