BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 27. Iran’s imports through customs of Bushehr Province (southern Iran), increased by 39 percent in value and 24 percent in volume, during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through February 19, 2023), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Customs Inspector of Bushehr Province Customs Office Ali Soleimani told Tasnim News Agency, Trend reports.

According to him, in total, 577,000 tons of goods worth $1.79 were imported through the province’s customs in 11 months.

Soleimani said that necessary equipment and spare parts for nuclear power plants, various types of fabric, tea, as well as spare parts for cars, motorcycles and bicycles and etc. were the main imported goods through the customs of Bushehr Province.

The official also added that the mentioned goods were mainly imported from China, the UAE, Russia, India, the Philippines, and others.

Meanwhile, Iran imported 33.6 million tons of goods worth $53.7 billion within the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through February 19, 2023). This is an increase of 15.2 percent in value, while a decrease of 8.61 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
