BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 15. Iran's non-oil exports to Uzbekistan increased by 54.3 percent in value and 26.2 percent in volume, during the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through May 21, 2023), compared to the same period in the last year, Trend reports.

In 2 months, Iran exported about 59,200 tons of non-oil products worth approximately $45.3 million to Uzbekistan.

Meanwhile, Iran’s non-oil exports to Uzbekistan stood at 46,800 tons worth $29.3 million in the same period last Iranian year.

Alone in the 2nd month of the current Iranian year (April 21 through May 21, 2023), Iran exported 32,600 tons of goods worth approximately $25.1 million to Uzbekistan.

Iran mainly exported milk and dairy products, petrochemical products, various types of pipes, glassware, agricultural equipment, and etc. to Uzbekistan.

Overall, Iran exported a total of 410,000 tons of non-oil products worth approximately $290 million to Uzbekistan, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), which is a decrease of 17.9 percent in value and 42.6 percent in volume compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022).

At the same time, Iran's total non-oil exports amounted to 21 million tons worth $7.51 billion within the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through May 21, 2023).

This is an increase of 12.3 percent in value, while a decrease of 13.7 percent in volume compared to the same period in the last Iranian year.
