BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 26. Iran's non-oil trade turnover with France amounted to 3,700 tons worth $79.6 million, during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through July 22, 2023), Trend reports.
According to the data of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the non-oil trade between the two countries for the reporting period increased by 2.2 percent in value, while decreasing by 1.98 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
So, the non-oil trade turnover between Iran and France was 3,780 tons worth approximately $77.9 million in the same period last Iranian year.
The main goods traded between Iran and France were carpets, agricultural products, including dates, pistachios, saffron, dried fruits, as well as, various types of equipment and spare parts, various industrial products, medical supplies and pharmaceuticals, petrochemical products, etc.
During the 4th month of the current Iranian year (June 22 through July 22, 2023), Iran’s non-oil trade with France stood at 682 tons worth approximately $24.3 million.
Overall, the value of Iran's non-oil trade turnover was $35.4 billion within the first four months of the current Iranian year.
