NEW HEAD OF WORLD BANK LOCAL REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE TO BE KNOWN NEXT MONTH
The name of the new head of the World Bank local representative office will be known in September. The former head Ahmed Djahani left Baku on 29 July and returned to Washington, although the period of his tenure expires 1, 5 years later, the World Bank Baku office told Trend.
The basic reason for his departure is related to his family problems. Akbar Noman will occupy the position of the office head temporarily. At present he is engaged at the Columbia University and at the request of the World Bank management will perform the duties of the head of the Baku representation office during a month.
