TURKISH AUDITORS INTERESTED IN CO-OP WITH AZERBAIJAN

The Turkish auditors are interested in the cooperation with Azerbaijan, Arif Hikmet Chingiz, the President of the auditor organization Antalya Serbest Muhasebeci Mali MГјЕџavirler, told the seminar on taxation experience in Turkey held in Baku in Tuesday.

According to Chingiz, next year it is planned to organize to carry out joint work, exchange of opinion in the sphere of audit with the Azerbaijani Chamber of Auditors., He noted that the current taxation system was mainly borrowed from Germany.

Along with a group of representatives of the Azerbaijani Chamber of Auditors, headed by the head of the Chamber, Vahid Novruzov, attending the event were representatives from private foreign and local auditing companies.

On Tuesday the Turkish delegation held a meting with Novruzov one-to-one to discuss the perspectives for further cooperation between the relevant bodies of the two countries.

The visit of the Turkish auditors representing TURMOB (TГјrkiye Serbest Muhasebeci Mali MГјЕџavirler ve Yeminli Mali MГјЕџavirler Odalari BirliДџi) which started on Monday, will last by 18 September.

Under the visit the delegates will meet with the principles of audit activities in Azerbaijan, such as Caspian Consulting, Ata Audit, as well as with Sattar Safarov, the chairman of the [permanent parliamentary commission on economic policy on 17 September.

The visit is implemented under the protocol of intention undersigned by the Azerbaijani Chamber of Auditors and TURMOB in Antalia April 2005.
