A delegation of the State Customs Committee (SCC) headed by the deputy chairman of the committee, Rafael Mirzayev, will participate in the 4th meeting of the Steering Committee under the project assistance to trade and transport of GUAM, regional organization among Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova, to be held in Tbilisi on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Major item of the session is to discuss the work done under the project, in particular, define real time for customs registration in the borders of GUAM transport corridors with respect to ensure maximal cut in the time spent during the customs check up for importers and transporters.
The third meeting of the steering committee under the project on assistance to trade and transport of GUAM was held in Baku in July 2005.
