Azerbaijan will receive the larger volume of funds in the framework of the program of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on the support of the leasing operations development in Central Asia and Azerbaijan, the IFC spokesman Aliya Nuriyeva said during the talks with journalists. According to her, the decision on opening the first credit line to the Azerbaijan’s UniBank in the amount of 5 million euro for the period of five years has been taken. Signing of the agreement between the bank and IFC is expected till the year end.
The program’s total budget is 30 million euro.
According to Aliya Nuriyeva, IFC prefers those companies which have the work experience in leasing activities.
