The Collegium of the Azerbaijani State Railway Department (ASRD) made a decision on renaming some stations in accordance with the Law on partial changes in administrative and territorial divisions of some regions, ASRD told Trend.
The stations Gazimammad was renamed Hajigabul, Duvany - Gobustan, Znoyny - Khydyrly, Hajiyev -Garasu, Montin -Narimanov, Fioletov - PI 2nd km.
According to Gurban Nazarov, the chief engineer of ASRD, they studied the reviews of the Archeology and Ethnography Institute, the executive powers of the regions Garadag, Narimanov, Hajigabul, as well as the Railway council of the CIS and Baltic countries prior making the decision. All railway economies are informed about the decision of ASRD.
