The Azerbaijani Accountancy Chamber (AC) plans to discuss the results of the complex check-up of state investments in health and education in the summer 2006, Trend reports referring to Namig Nasrullayev, the chairman of AC.
Many questions arise on state investments, particularly, mechanism of their control, he added. AC will also discuss the results of the check-up in health and education. The defects, revealed in the health sphere during the examination conducted by AC, are being eliminated. There are also many problems in the education. In 2005 AC conducted numerous examinations in this sphere, which would be discussed in complex.
The head of AC pins great hopes on the Law on state financial control and comes out for its urgent adoption at the Milli Majlis [Parliament]. Adoption of the law will determine functions of internal and foreign audit. State organizations will have clear notion of their authorities. The law will also allow setting of the situation in reporting on taken measures, Nasrullayev stressed.
