New WB representative to Azerbaijan takes up duties in early July

New World Bank manager to Azerbaijan Gregory Jedgeichak takes up his duties in early July, WB representatives told Trend. He was introduced to Azeri government within the visit of WB mission, headed by senior economist Christian Petersen. Managers authorities duration is 3 years.

WB officials said Jedgeichak, 55, has an experience of work as a country manager he was the head of country representation in Ukraine between 1998 and 2003.

WB Baku office left without a head since July 2005 due to expiry of 4-year authorities of former country manager Ahmed Jahani.
