(autoinsidernews) - Ford announced today that the Lincoln MKS concept, first shown at the Detroit Auto Show in January, will arrive in dealers in 2008 as Lincolns full-size flagship sedan, reports Trend.
The Lincoln MKS will take Lincoln craftsmanship and comfort beyond anything weve built before, said Fords Mark Fields. Its design communicates power, motion and speed, and it will be packed with more technology and features than any Lincoln before it.
One of the new technologies on the Lincoln flagship: a capless fuel filler, which besides making it impossible to forget to put the gas cap back on and is better for the environment because no gas fumes escape. Fords industry first technology debuted on the Ford GT and will expand across the companys product lineup starting with the 2008 Lincoln MKS.
