Saab restyling the 9-3 for 2008

(autoinsidernews) - While the Saab 9-3 is not scheduled a full redesign until 2010, Saab enthusiast site Trollhättansaab.net is reporting that automaker is working on an extensive reskin for next summer. The restyled 9-3 is expected feature design cues from the Aero X concept car shown in Geneva, reports Trend.

The restyled 2008 9-3 will continue on the current Epsilon platform, but is expected to offer an all-wheel drive option. The all-new 2010 9-3 will be based on the upcoming Epsilon 2 platform, which will also underpin the larger 9-5.

Based on sources, the 2008 Saab 9-3 is expected to be unveiled in Sweden in June 2007 and debut in the U.S. in August 2007.
