On September 20, Azerbaijan Export and Investment Foundation (AZPROMO) held a round table on the topic Creation of industrial zone for inflow of foreign investments. The event was held through support from the Economic Development Ministry of Azerbaijan within the TACIS project, Trend reports with reference to the statement of AZPROMO. The round table brought together the entrepreneurs and European experts.
The round table focused on the opportunities of creating industrial zones in Azerbaijan, various kinds of entrepreneurship in the industrial zones, demand of investors for the technical infrastructure, possible role of AZPROMO in creating industrial zones, etc.
The Czech expert Miroslav Kotek presented the experience of Czech Republic in the creation of the industrial zones.
The event is held within the co-operation with TACIS Program of the European Union. The next round table is planned for October 26, which will cover investment legislation of Azerbaijan.
