According to the order of the President of Azerbaijan, the law On amendments and annexes to the Tax Code which will take effect from January 1, 2007 was confirmed, Trend reports. According to the law, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan was charged to, within a month, bring all normative-legal acts into conformity with the law. For the taxation purpose, the real estate (except Housing Fund) should be applied with minimal size of the monthly lease fee.
The Taxes Ministry was charged, within two months, to agree with the Finance Ministry the confirmation of the rules of the Agreement on eliminating double taxation between Azerbaijan and other countries. In addition, the Taxes Ministry should confirm the forms of declaration and rules of filling in them.
