In 2006, 29,963 passenger cars were imported to Azerbaijan, Trend reports. According to the date of the State Statistics Committee, the total cost of all the passenger cars delivered to the country in this period reached $223,586,4mln. In this period, the Country imported 8% of passenger cars less versus the corresponding period of 2005. The total value of the cars delivered to the country this year exceeds the last year figure by 49.4%.
In 2006, 7,584 lorries amounting to $78,529,600 were delivered to the country. The number of the cars imported to the country in 2006 is 10.7% less than last year. However, this year indicator exceeds the last year one in its value by 18.6%.
In 2006 Azerbaijan imported 371 buses at the cost of $7,730,800. The number of the cars the country imported last year is 2.9% less versus the corresponding indicator from previous year. The cost is by 29.9% less versus the previous year.
