The State Standardization, Metrology, and Patents Agency is expected to establish a new training and information centre, Trend reports referring to the State Agency. It will become possible due to the negotiations to be held with the Technical Cooperation Society (GTZ) within the TWININQ Project of Japan, and other organization.
The information and training centre is expected to be established starting from 2007. The above-mentioned organizations are expected to render their technical aid as well
At the same time, new experimental stations will be established within the forthcoming centre. The quality of foods imported to the country will be studied and researched by means of them. The control in this issue will be reinforced as well.
Starting from January 15, the Azerbaijan Institute of Standards has operated under the State Agency.
