Azerbaijan , Baku /corr. Trend I.Khalilova / An office of Azerbaijan Fund for Promoting export and Investments (AZPROMO) will open in Aktau, West Kazakhstan , in March.
Emil Majidov, AZPROMO President, said that the new office with only one AZPROMO representative will function as a coordinator among group of companies. Part of them will represent AZPROMO trustees.
Some 5-6 Azerbaijan companies, involved in the non-oil sector and rendering service to oil companies, will participate in the formation of the budget of this office in Kazakhstan .
AZPROMO should receive data constantly to carry out efficient work, while west Kazakhstan is one of interesting markets and a coordinator is needed for the upgrade of relationships. This is a Japanese system and now it is applied in Kazakhstan . Further AZPROMO could open its office in Russia depending on the state of the market. So, if in Kazakhstan it is dealt with service companies in the oil and gas sector, while in Russia the target is the food market.
A decision on the establishment of a representative office in Kazakhstan was adopted in the last meeting of the AZPROMO Trustee Council. Mr. Majidov expects this office to contribute in Azerbaijani business in Kazakhstan . It will be mainly involved in information and organization support to Azerbaijani companies.
