Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend U.Ismaylova / According to the information provided by the Finance Ministry of Azerbaijan, within the first quarter, the maximum amount of premiums by insurance companies in Azerbaijan was for non-life insurance.
The amount of the premiums for non-life insurance amounted to AZN 32,718 mln under payment in amount of AZN 6,173 mln. The second premium was for obligatory insurance in the amount of AZN 3,967 mln under payment in the amount of AZN 616,300. The third place of premiums was for life insurance AZN 1,071,100 under payment in amount of AZN 217,300.
In the first quarter, gross premiums by insurance companies functioning in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 36.79 mln under payment of AZN 6.81 mln.
