Azerbaijan, Lankaran / Тrend corr P. Aliyeva / A new brickworks has been put into operation in the Mashkhan village of the Azerbaijani Astara region.
The plant has been built with a credit of AZN 200,000 allotted by the National Fund for Support to Development of Entrepreneurship.
Equipment required for the construction was delivered from Turkey and Ukraine. The plant will manufacture 20,000 red bricks per day, using local raw materials for production. The plant takes up one hectare of land.
Astara is situated 300 km south of Baku.
