Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / The permanent representation of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan (NAR) in Baku reported that 759 people gained employment in NAR between January and April. The average unemployment benefit in NAR made up AZN 40.50.
Some 1,746 new jobs were created in NAR in the first quarter of 2007, 29.9% were provided by the State sector and 70.8% by the private sector.
From October 2003 to April 2007 the number of new jobs in NAR made up 26,558, 16,273 of them permanent.
