Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Khalilova / The Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry reported on 29 June that the Azerbaijani entrepreneurs attended the 'Entrance to foreign markets' workshop in Athens, Greece, within the framework of the Hellenic cooperation development program.
The event was organized in accordance with the memorandum, signed between the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development and EOMMEX, a Greece organization, on 18 November, 2006.
Twenty Azerbaijani entrepreneurs specialized in different spheres, including bank, audit and consultation, communication services, domestic appliances' trading, building, agriculture, carpets and natural juice production participated at the workshop.
During the visit the Azerbaijani and Greece entrepreneurs held bilateral meetings to discuss prospects of cooperation.
The representatives of the Greece Foreign Ministry and EOMMEX organized meetings at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Greece.
The participants of the meeting were informed about the economy of Azerbaijan, reforms, as well as about entrepreneurship.
