The compressor station at the Central Azeri field in the Azerbaijani section of the Caspian Sea was completely repaired, the government said.
BP ceased oil production at the field on Sept. 17 and evacuated staff from the platform due to gas emissions. Production at the West Azeri platform was also halted as a precautionary measure, but later restored.
The total oil production at 5 Central Azeri wells amounts to 11,000 barrels.
Oil production at the ACG block is 700,000 barrels per day compared to 900,000 before the production was halted.
Azeri Light oil is produced from the ACG and exported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline.
