The certification company Bureau Veritas within the UN Clean Development Mechanism began the process of validation of the project for the collection and processing of associated gas in offshore fields "Oil Rocks", the report said. Earlier, Bureau Veritas was appointed to control and check the UN Clean Development Mechanism at "Oil Rocks".
According to the report, Bureau Veritas specialist, along with a representative of German company Gazprom Germany GmbH, which acts as the consultant of the project, evaluated the project.
During the visit the validator expressed his satisfaction with the process, and gave recommendations to clarify some of the documentation and reporting. The validator asked for the information on the project, which remained open.
According to the validator and project consultant, the process of registration of this project can be resolved by the end of this year. The validation process continues.
