KazMunaiGas (KMG) has promised to improve the service quality at its gas stations.

"We are not focused on increasing the number of gas stations, but rather on improving the service quality at already existing stations," KMG Managing Director Daniyar Tiesov said. "We have heard a lot of criticism lately about having poor service. So we have decided to improve our quality."

KMG operates 272 gas stations under its own brand on the domestic retail market.

KazMunaiGas is Kazakhstan's national operator for exploring, extracting, processing and transporting hydrocarbons. The company is completely owned by the SamrukKazyna National Welfare Fund.
