Energy and transport issues to be discussed in Baku during 5th Caspian Oil and Gas Trading and Transportation Conference

The development of transport infrastructure, regional cooperation, crude and oil products trading, export of Caspian gas, logistics solutions, analysis of existing and planned oil and gas projects, port capacities, marine transportation and other aspects of the region's energy sector will be discussed during the Fifth Caspian Oil and Gas Trading and Transportation Conference to be held on April 18-19, 2011, in Baku.

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 4 / Trend /

The development of transport infrastructure, regional cooperation, crude and oil products trading, export of Caspian gas, logistics solutions, analysis of existing and planned oil and gas projects, port capacities, marine transportation and other aspects of the region's energy sector will be discussed during the Fifth Caspian Oil and Gas Trading and Transportation Conference to be held on April 18-19, 2011, in Baku.

The British company Confidence Capital and Azerbaijan State Oil Academy are organizers of the conference.

The speakers of the conference include representatives of ministries, state and private companies and leading players of oil and transport sectors. It is expected that the conference will be opened by the Azerbaijani Industry and Energy Minister, Natig Aliyev. His welcoming speech and report is entitled "Importance of the Caspian region for the world energy market: Energy potential and export opportunities".

Key speakers will also include Parliamentary Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology Committee Deputy Chairman Valeh Alesgerov, Kazakh Vice Transport and Communications Minister Dulat Kuterbekov, Georgian Energy Minister Alexandre Khetaguri, Former Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Mirek Topolanek, SOCAR First Vice-President Khoshbakht Yusifzade, Nabucco Pipeline General Director Reinhard Mitschek, KazMunaiGas Oil Transportation Managing Director Nurtas Shmanov, EMEX Turkmenistan Director Murat Seitnepesov and the Asian Development Bank representative Stephen Wermert.
