The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) exported over 1.1 million tons of oil products from its own refineries in January-September compared to about 1. 45 million tons at the same period of 2010, SOCAR said.
SOCAR exported 149,700 tons of oil products in Septembercompared to 165,300 tons at the same period of 2010.
The country produces oil products at two Baku refineries with a total capacity of 20 million tons of oil per year. Both refineries belong to SOCAR, which annually processes approximately 7 million tons of oil from the Azerbaijani offshore and onshore fields.
