Iran has produced 5 million liters of gas oil per day since early current Iranian year (strated on March 21) until now, neftnews website quotes Iranian Deputy Oil Miniter Alirza Zeygami as saying.
Zeygami also said Iran launched production of kerosene last month. "Last month 50,000 tons of kerosene was sold for the first time," Zeygami said.
He said kerosene and gas oil is sold to neighboring countries and these products are transported by tankers.
"The country's oil refineries produce 100 million liters of gas oil per day. Some 85 million liters of this volume is used within the country and 15 million liters of gas oil per day can be exported," Zeygami said.
