Azerbaijan's State Oil Company (SOCAR) exported over 1.45 million tonnes of oil from Georgian port of Supsa in the first half of 2014 compared to 1.36 million tonnes in January-June, 2013.
In a message released on July 4, SOCAR said it exported over 242,000 tonnes of oil from the Supsa Port in June, versus 242,320 tonnes in the same period of 2013.
In total, SOCAR exported about 2.73 million tonnes of oil from the Supsa Port in 2013, while in 2012 this figure was 2.74 million tonnes.
The oil is delivered to Supsa via the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline.
The pipeline is operated by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC).
