Kazakh Aktaugasservis gas distributing company merged with Kazakh KazTransGaz Aimak, the latter company reported.
Following the merger KazTransGas Aimak will become the only gas operator in Kazakh Mangistau region.
Such a decision was made by Kazakh National Company KazTransGas which is the only shareholder of the both companies on August 8.
KazTransGaz Aimak is Kazakhstan's state-owned near-monopoly engaged in domestic natural gas transportation and distribution. KTGA purchases natural gas from domestic producers and resells it to domestic consumers.
Aktaugasservis established in 2004 worked as a gas operator in the city of Aktau and Munaylinsk district of Mangistau region.
