The construction work within the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) project will start in March of 2016, Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Natig Aliyev said.
He made the remarks during the meeting with the US ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta Feb. 26.
Touching upon the difficulties surrounding the TAP project, the minister praised the US position in this issue.
Natig Aliyev noted that the second meeting of the Advisory Council of the Southern Gas Corridor will ensure the necessary support to the timely implementation of this project and delivery of Azerbaijani gas to Europe.
