Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR exported 1.85 million tons of oil from Georgia’s Supsa Port in three quarters of 2016 as compared to 2.03 million tons in the first nine months of 2015, read a message posted on SOCAR website.
The company exported 274,710 tons of oil from Supsa in September 2016.
SOCAR exported around 2.79 million tons of oil from this port in 2015 as compared to nearly 2.96 million tons in 2014.
Oil is delivered to Supsa via the Baku-Supsa pipeline operated by the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC).
