Iran's oil revenues up by 49% despite US sanctions

In spite of US sanctions against Iran's oil industry, the statistics show that over the first nine months of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), $17.2 billion were earned from the country's crude sales, up 48.9 percent compared to the same period last year.

According to the figures reported by Iran's Central Bank, the government's crude oil revenues in the nine months of this year were $17.2 billion, while $1.3 billion were earned from gas condensate exports, Trend reports.

In the export of gas and oil products, Iran witnessed a 59.2 percent decrease, as in the nine months of last year, Iran was able to earn $2.7 billion, but now this figure has reached $1.3 billion.

Also, the domestic gas condensate sales reached $1.8 billion at the end of this autumn, which was $814 million last year.
