Italy leads by Kazakh oil import volume

Volume of export of Kazakh oil amounted to 22.6 million tons during January-April 2019, which is 2.2 percent less than in the same period of last year, Trend reports referring to LS news agency.

The value of oil export of Kazakhstan amounted to $10.5 billion, which is six percent less than in the same period of 2018.

Italy is the leader by import volume of Kazakh oil. Some 6.2 million tons of oil worth $2.9 billion was imported by this country.

France imported 2.5 million tons worth $1.2 billion, South Korea imported 2.1 million tons worth $999.7 million and Spain imported 1.6 million tons worth $775 million.

Furthermore, Switzerland imported 1.6 million tons worth $711.8 million, The Netherlands imported 1.4 million tons worth $667.4 million and Romania imported 1.1 million tons worth $507 million.

Turkey purchased 976,000 tons of oil worth $437.4 million, Greece imported 876,600 tons worth $393.2 million and China purchased 809,300 tons worth $383.6 million.

Kazakhstan exported 491,500 tons ($231.3 million) to India, 391,000 tons ($209.6 million) to Malaysia, 375,100 tons ($170.5 million) to Israel and 352,900 tons ($164.6 million) to Portugal.
